A single-judge Bench of the Delhi High Court recently asked parties to a case to submit a video clip of their arguments and rebuttal for its perusal (Morgan Securities vs Ganesh Benzoplast).

The video clip of 15 minutes shall be submitted along with written submissions, the Court said.

"All the parties including the applicant .. shall file brief note of submissions not exceeding three pages along with copies of relevant documents/judgments .. along with the video clip of 15 minutes of their oral arguments for the convenience of this Court within four days," the order passed by Justice JR Midha said.

The order was passed after a request for adjournment was made on the ground of the Senior Advocate's unavailability.

"The parties shall file additional two pages note to respond to the submissions of the opposite parties within four days thereafter. The parties shall file the video clip of 10 minutes of their oral arguments along with the additional note," the court said.

A similar order was passed by Justice Midha last year as well, when he presided over a Division Bench.
