Delhi High Court seeks Centre, BCCI response on PIL alleging corruption in UP Cricket Association

The plea filed by a group of players said that a few people have been controlling the game in the state of UP for many decades without holding any elections and misusing funds meant for players.

The Delhi High Court on Tuesday issued notice in a public interest litigation (PIL) seeking an inquiry by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) or the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO), into the affairs of the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) [Pradeep Prakash and Ors v Union of India and Ors].
