Delhi High Court issues contempt of court notice to lawyer who refused to retract allegations against judges in petition

A lawyer had alleged that the judges who dealt with the petition filed by him on behalf of a rape vicitm, were favouring the accused and had a personal interest.

The Delhi High Court has issued notice for criminal contempt of court proceedings against a practising advocate Virendra Singh for making scandalous and mala fide allegations against several sitting judges of the High Court in a petition filed on behalf of a rape survivor [Ms M Victim v State of NCT of Delhi Through SHO and Ors].
