The Delhi High Court today directed Delhi Police to expeditiously complete its probe in the 'Bois Locker Room' case..The order was passed by a Division Bench of Justices Siddharth Mridul and Talwant Singh in a petition preferred by one Ashish Dubey (Petitioner)..In the petition filed through Advocates Dushyant Tiwari and Om Prakash Parihar, the Petitioner informed the Court that the participants of the chat group/ students belonged to high profile families and thus there were high chances of the investigation being unfair and partial.."..the entire issue needs to be investigated by the SIT or CBI as these students belong to high profile families and there is an apprehension that the investigation or enquiry conducted by the local police will be influenced and wrongdoer’s will never be arrested and punished.", the petition reads..The Petitioner had sought investigation for commission of offences under Section 66E of the Information Technology Act, as well as Section 354C, Section 509, Section 503, Section 499 of Indian Penal Code..The Petitioner had also prayed for providing safety to the girls and women who exposed the Bois Locker Room group..In response to the petition, the Delhi Police submitted that investigation in the case was ongoing after a FIR was registered. .Considering the same, the Court disposed of the matter after directing Delhi Police to complete the investigation expeditiously and file its final report before the court concerned as per law.
