The Delhi High Court has agreed to hear tomorrow a petition by activist Harsh Mander in connection with the ongoing violence in North East Delhi..The petition seeks FIR against BJP leaders Kapil Mishra, Anurag Thakur, Parvesh Sahib Singh and others for hate speech..The matter was mentioned before the Division Bench of Justices GS Sistani and Anup J Bhambhani by counsel for Mander, Advocate Sneha Mukherjee..Given the current situation in areas in North East Delhi, Mukherjee sought urgent listing of the matter today itself..The Court, however, agreed to list the matter for hearing tomorrow..Apart from seeking criminal action against the BJP leaders for inciting violence through their speeches, Mander has also prayed for constitution of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) consisting of Officers from outside Delhi to look into the violence..Mander also seeks a direction to enable a retired Judge to enquire into the communal attacks..The Petition filed through Advocates Fazal Abdali, Sneha Mukherjee and Nabila Hasan also seeks compensation for those killed injured, preservation of CCTV footage, safety of women & children, legal aid to those detained, deployment of army in the area etc..Meanwhile, the Supreme Court also agreed to hear applications by Bhim Army Chief, Chandra Shekhar Aazad and others for registeration of FIRs based on complaints pertaining to the violence that began on February 23 in the city's North-East area..Delhi Violence: Supreme Court agrees to hear application for registration of FIRs on complaints made after the attacks
