The Delhi government has ordered that 100 rooms at Ashoka hotel in Delhi's Chanakyapuri be set up as COVID care facility exclusively for judges and judicial officers of the Delhi High Court and their families. .The rooms have to be placed at the disposal of Primus hospital, Chanakyapuri. An order to this effect issued by the Sub Divisional Magistrare, Chanakyapuri, Geeta Grover on April 25 after a request was received by the Delhi High Court to set up a COVID health care facility for judges and judicial officers of the High Court. .Here are the key highlights of the order: The Primus Hospital will run the Covid health care facility at the Ashoka Hotel;The disposal of the bio medical waste will be the responsibility of the hospital;The staff of the hotel will be provided with all protective gear and given adequate training;Ambulance for transfer facility will be provided by Primus Hospital.If there is any shortage in the hotel staff, the hospital should provide the arrange their staff;All services including rooms, housekeeping, disinfection and food for patients will be provided by the Hotel;The charges shall be collected by the hospital and the hospital shall make payment to the hotel.
