A Delhi Court has allowed pleas moved by 21-year-old activist, Disha Ravi seeking a copy of the FIR registered over the toolkit in connection with the Farmers Protests, as well as a copy of the remand application.

The request for the FIR copy and remand application was opposed by Delhi Police.

Pankaj Sharma, Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Patiala House Court has also allowed her access to warm clothes, books.

Disha has also been allowed access to her lawyer and talk time with family during the police custody.

As per the Court's direction, during the police custody, Ravi will be allowed to speak with her lawyer for 30 mins and to her family for 15 mins, on a daily basis.

Applications seeking the aforesaid relief were sought by Ravi through her counsel. Ravi's police custody ends on February 19.

Ravi was apprehended by the Delhi Police on Saturday night alleging that she had made edits to a Google document that was shared as a “toolkit” related to the ongoing farmers protests.

The toolkit has been the basis for the case registered by Delhi Police after Swedish climate activist, Greta Thunberg had tweeted the same expressing support for the farmers protests.

The Delhi Police has claimed that the “toolkit” itself was created by a Khalistani group, Poetic Justice Foundation and was edited by Disha Ravi. It was Ravi who shared the same with Thunberg, the police alleged.

It was part of the wider conspiracy to defame India, it has been claimed.

The Delhi Police had lodged an FIR on February 4 against unnamed persons in relation the toolkit.
