In view of COVID-19 pandemic, the Delhi High Court has notified that the present system of hearing shall continue upto January 16, 2021. .All pending/non-urgent matters listed between December 1 and January 16 are adjourned en bloc to dates in February and March, 2021. .The courts of Registrars and Joint Registrars shall continue to take up matters as per existing arrangement. .With effect from October 12, two courts of Joint Registrars (Judicial) have begun taking up the matters through physical mode. Others continue to hold court through videoconferencing as per roster. .All the courts of Joint Registrars (Judicial) have also begun recording evidence in cases involving urgency or where any direction for expeditious/time bound disposal..It is again clarified that cases instituted in between January 1, 2018, and March 21, 2020 shall not be taken up by the High Court in physical hearing. .Since September, the High Court had resumed physical hearing in its premises a limited manner..[Read Notice]
