The Supreme Court on Friday sought response from the Central government on a plea seeking a directions for a mechanism to scrutinise medical bills of patients overcharged by private hospitals during the COVID-19 pandemic. .A Bench of Justices DY Chandrachud, Vikram Nath and BV Nagarathna issued notice on the petition.
