CCI can continue adjudicatory proceedings even if there is a vacancy or defect in its composition: Delhi High Court

The Court said that the Competition Act does not prescribe the minimum number of members to constitute a valid quorum for the CCI in its adjudicatory proceedings.

The Delhi High Court recently held that the Competition Commission of India (CCI) has the jurisdiction to adjudicate complaints or proceedings pending before it even if there is a vacancy or defect in the CCI's composition.
