The Bombay High Court recently dismissed a PIL challenging an April 2020 circular that had effectively suspended the release of funds from the Member of Parliament Local Area Development (MPLAD) Scheme for a two-year period as part of the Centre's efforts to focus the diversion of funds for COVID-19 relief efforts.
