The Bar Council of Delhi has increased the fees payable by lawyers at the time of enrolment, with effect from January 1, 2021..As per a Notice issued by Bar Council of Delhi, a candidate, who is applying immediately after his/her LL.B course, shall now have to pay a total of Rs. 14,300 at the time of enrolment with the Council..This amount includes fees for enrolment, identity card, building fund, library fund, indigent fund, welfare fund, advocates welfare fund..The amount payable towards enrolment fees and identity card is Rs. 600 and Rs. 100 respectively.The amount payable towards building fund, library fund and indigent fund is Rs. 4,000, Rs. 3,000 and Rs. 2,900, respectively.Rs. 3,000 is the contribution towards welfare fund under Rule 40 of the BCI Rules.
