[Article 227] High Court exercising supervisory jurisdiction can't re-appreciate evidence as court of first appeal: Supreme Court

The jurisdiction exercised under Article 227 is in the nature of correctional jurisdiction to set right grave dereliction of duty or flagrant violation of fundamental principles of law or justice, the Court said.
