Arrest by ED illegal; Habeas Corpus plea maintainable: TN Minister V Senthil Balaji to Madras High Court

Tamil Nadu minister V Senthil Balaji, who was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) last week, and subsequently remanded to judicial custody, told the Madras High Court Thursday that the central agency violated legal procedures and constitutional safeguards in arresting him.
