The Allahabad High Court has resolved to open its Benches at Allahabad and Lucknow from May 8 onwards, amid the third leg of the COVID-19 national lockdown. .The Administrative Committee of the Allahabd High Court held a meeting today telephonically to consider the issue regarding the resumption of regular sittings of the High Court. .It has now been resolved that the Courts in Allahabad and Lucknow will be opened from May 8 onwards "in two different shifts having different sessions for criminal as well as civil matters." .It is further informed,."The timing for each session shall be from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm and from 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm. While making the Courts operational all protocol pertaining to social distancing shall be maintained."Notification.Any fresh matter can be filed manually as well as through the electronic mode.
