At least 42 farmer unions have been impleaded as parties to the case pending before the Supreme Court in relation to farmers protests at Delhi-NCR border areas..This development comes after a Bench led by Chief Justice SA Bobde, on December 17, allowed farmers congregated at Delhi’s borders to continue their protests against the three contentious farm laws while also directing the petitioners before the Supreme Court to ensure that all farmers unions be made party to the case. The petitioners have sought removal of framers from public roads citing the inconvenience caused to public due to protestors blocking roads. One of the petitions filed by law student Rishabh Sharma stated that it is necessary to remove the gathering as it is blocking roads and disrupting emergency/medical services in Delhi where Covid-19 cases are increasing rapidly.Sharma, through Advocate Om Prakash Parihar, have now impleaded the following farmers unions as parties to the case:.Farmers Protests: Who wants what from Supreme Court?.Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU)BKU Units of: Sidhupur, Rahewal, Lakhowal, Dakaunda, Bhanu, Tikait, Doaba, Kadian, Mansa, Maan, Chadhuni Jattan, Mubarakpur, AmbavtaBKU Ekta UgrahaBKU Krantikari VPO Phull Jamhoori Kisan SabhaKul Hind Kisan FederationKrantikari Kisan UnionKul Hind Kisan SabhaKirti Kisan UnionPunjab Kisan UnionKul Hind Kisan SabhaKisan Sangharsh CommitteeAzad Kisan SangharshJai Kisaan Andolan Kisaan Majdoor SangharshMajha Kisan Committee Indian Farmer Association of IndiaBhartiya Kisan Manch Lok Bhalai Insaaf Welfare Society Doaba Kisan SamitiDoaba Kisan Sangharsh CommitteeGanna Kisan CommitteeAajad Kisan Committee, DoabaKul Hind Kisan Federation Kisan Bacharach MorchaKul Hind Kisan Sangharsh Talmel CommitteeSarva Hind Rashtriya KisanMahila Kisan Adhikar MunchRashtriya Kisan Mahasangh.[BREAKING] Farmers' protests should be allowed to continue without impediment, breach of peace: Supreme Court
