After the competition of trial, the Central Government had the absolute authority to appoint as many Special Prosecutors for appeals in 2G cases, Additional Solicitor General Sanjay Jain today argued before the Delhi High Court.

At the same time, it can continue to utilise the services of already existing Prosecutors, Jain added as he defended filing of 2G appeals.
