Legal Professionals with Disabilities: 3-day International Summit from December 1-3: Justice DY Chandrachud to preside over valedictory session

A virtual three-day International summit concerning Legal Professionals with Disabilities will be conducted from December 1 to December 3. .The summit is being organised by ILS Law College, Pune's Equal Opportunity cum Enabling Cell in collaboration with the Oxford Human Rights Hub, the Harvard Law School Project on Disability and the Centre for Disability Studies, University of Leeds, UK..The three-day summit will feature three panel discussions by disabled legal professionals to foster a well-considered dialogue on how to break down the structural and attitudinal barriers that prevent disabled legal professionals from leading lives of equal productivity and dignity as their able-bodied counterparts. .Watch the sessions:.On Day 1 the Keynote address will be by Maria Soledad Cisternas (video message), UN Special Envoy of the Secretary-General on Disability and Accessibility.
