With this win, the lawyers have a 4-2 lead in the annual charity cricket match. .The lawyers’ team comprised representatives from Duane Morris & Selvam, Khaitan & Co, AZB & Partners, J. Sagar Associates, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Trilegal, Desai & Diwanji and Crawford Bailey..The charity match raised more than 2 lakh rupees for Bal Asha Trust, which works towards giving quality care to children who are found abandoned at various public places around Mumbai every year. Khaitan & Co donated Rs. 75,000, while Duane Morris & Selvam donated Rs. 68,000..Jamie Benson, Partner at Duane Morris was quoted as saying,.“Although I am happy the lawyers won the match, the main thing was bringing lawyers and bankers together for a fun time to raise money for a very good cause.
