Prof Priti Saxena appointed as Vice-Chancellor of HPNLU Shimla

Prof Priti Saxena has been appointed as Vice-Chancellor of Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU), Shimla

The appointment notification was issued today by Himachal Pradesh High Court Chief Justice and University Chancellor Rajiv Shakdher.

Prof Saxena has been hired for a period of five years or until she attains the age of sixty-five years.

She succeeds Dr. Nishtha Jaswal as Vice-Chancellor of HPNLU, Shimla.

Prof Saxena earned her law degree from Rohilkhand University, Bareilly and her Ph.D in Law from Kumaun University, Nainital. She has previously held the post of Dean, School for Legal Studies at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow.
