BCI hails nomination of former Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi as a member of Rajya Sabha, sees it as a bridge between Legislature and Judiciary

The Bar Council of India has hailed the nomination of former Chief Justice of India, Ranjan Gogoi, as a member of the Parliament (Rajya Sabha). The press release issued today states,
"We see it as a bridge between the Legislature and Judiciary. This, in fact, would be an ideal opportunity to portray the first hand views of the judiciary before the law makers and vis-a-versa."
