Bombay High Court upholds penalty on CISF officer who asked female neighbour for lemon at midnight

Knocking on a neighbour’s door knowing that the man in the house is absent for a frivolous reason of getting a lemon is preposterous, the Court said.

The Bombay High Court remarked that knocking on a female neighbour's door at odd hours in the absence of her husband for something as frivolous as lemons was conduct unbecoming of an officer from the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). [Arvind Kumar v. Laxmi Nikam & Ors.]
