The Kerala High Court on Tuesday initiated a suo motu public interest litigation (PIL) under the caption “Protection and rehabilitation of children in streets” to look into the issues faced by nomadic children who are often found begging or selling knick knacks on the streets [Suo Moto v The Secretary to Government & Ors.].
