Kerala High Court initiates contempt of court case against lawyer; appoints senior advocate to assist court
The lawyer Yeshwanth Shenoy had filed a plea alleging that only a very limited number of cases are listed each day before a certain sitting judge of the court even as other judges have to deal with hundreds of cases.
The Kerala High Court on Tuesday initiated a criminal contempt of court case against one of the lawyers practicing before it, advocate Yeshwanth Shenoy [Suo Motu v Yeshwanth Shenoy].
