Karnataka court issues arrest warrant against former Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa in POCSO case

Fearing arrest, BS Yediyurappa had moved an anticipatory bail petition before the Karnataka High Court. In the meanwhile, the CID approached the trial court and was able to secure a warrant to arrest the former CM.

A trial court in Karnataka has issued an arrest warrant against former Chief Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader BS Yediyurappa in connection with a case registered against him under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (POCSO Act).
