Request against transfer of Justice Sivagnanam only made considering large pendency of revenue cases: RBA

Referring to a remark that the Judge's transfer may leave a "vacuum", the RBA has clarified that it was not intended to hurt anyone or refer to the Madras High Court.

The Revenue Bar Association (RBA), Chennai has issued a clarification that its recent request to reconsider the transfer of Justice TS Sivagnanam from the Madras High Court to Calcutta was only made in view of the large pendency of revenue appeals and was not meant to hurt anyone.
