Justice Gopala Gowda is new CJ of Orissa High Court

Justice V. Gopala Gowda of the Karnataka High Court, is set to take over as the Chief Justice of the Orissa High Court from Acting Chief Justice I.M. Quddusi on Thursday. Initially, Justice Gowda was touted to be appointed as the Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court. However, Justice Chelameswar was appointed as the Chief Justice.
