The Jammu and Kashmir High Court on Wednesday regularised and confirmed the ad-hoc appointments of seven Judicial officers as District Judges..The seven judicial officers who have been appointed on promotion as District Judges on an ad-hoc basis are:Mirza Riyaz ul HaqVijay Singh ManhasMasrat RuhiBalbir Lal Ashwani Kumar SharmaKusum Lata Pandita Ajaz Ahmed Khan."The adhoc appointment on promotion as District Judges of seven Judicial Officers, made vide Government Order No. 6065-LD(A) of 2018 dated 03.12.2018, is hereby confirmed regularized against the substantative posts held by them with effect from the date they have assumed the charge of their adhoc/officiating appointment as District Judges", reads the order passed by the Jammu and Kashmir High Court.."However, their seniority shall be determined on completion of the process for filling up 07 vacancies (direct quota) advertised vide Notification No. 1160 dated 05.11.2018", it states further.
