After Mumbai’s National Law University, the country is to get another NLU, this time in the state of Jammu & Kashmir..As per this report in Kashmir Life, the state’s Law Minister Syed Basharat Bukhari will be visiting Bangalore and Hyderabad to study NLSIU, and NALSAR respectively..Although Bukhari has not provided any tentative dates for the establishment of the university, the likelihood of this happening is quite high. Over the last few years, a number of State governments have exhibited a great degree of enthusiasm when it comes to national law universities.
