The IndiGo legal team has announced its annual promotions. Principal Legal Counsel Bharat Bahadur and Sarah Rufus have been made Associate General Counsel..Bharat joined IndiGo in December 2016 from Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He joined Gibson in 2013, prior to which he was working at AZB & Partners as a Senior Associate. He is a graduate of Amity Law School..Sarah has previously worked with AZB & Partners and S&R Associates. She is a graduate of Symbiosis Law School..Joydeep Sarkar moves up to Principal Legal Counsel taking over Sarah’s current role. Joydeep has worked with Khaitan & Co in the past..Manjishtha Choudhury too moves up to Principal Legal Counsel, taking over Bharat’s current role. Manjishtha has worked with IndiGo for close to ten years..Tushar Sharma and Akshita Shrivastva have been promoted to Senior Legal Counsel.
