HSA hiring spree continues: Naik Naik’s Bharat Sharma joins Mumbai office

HSA Advocates has hired Bharat Sharma, a Partner at Naik Naik & Co, for the firm’s Mumbai office. With this hire, Bharat becomes the the twelfth Partner in the HSA Advocates’ Corporate Commercial Practice..Bharat is a Solicitor and holds an LL.B. degree from K.C. Law College, University of Mumbai. He also holds a Masters in International Finance from Middlesex Business School, London..He started his career with Crawford Bayley & Co. in 2003, followed by Talwar Thakore & Associates in 2007 where he was seconded to Linklaters LLP, Hong Kong..In 2010, Bharat joined Khaitan & Co. and was part of the Corporate M&A and Infrastructure team..The official press release quoted HSA Founding Partner Hemant Sahai as saying,.“We want to consolidate and grow our existing areas of practice…[The] firm has entered into an exiciting growth trajectory…”.Bharat is not the only “outsider” to join HSA’s top-level team in recent times. Earlier this year, HSA Advocates roped in Sharath Chandrasekhar as a Partner in the newly opened office in Bengaluru, as well as getting in Aninda Pal from Juris Corp in Mumbai.
