Gujarat High Court asks State to address "unhygienic conditions" in crematoriums, burial grounds

A bench led by Chief Justice Aravind Kumar asked the authorities to ensure that they come up with a unique policy so that all other States follow the Gujarat model.

The Gujarat High Court on Friday took note of the unhygienic conditions prevailing in almost all the crematoriums and burial grounds across the State and ordered the State government and the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) to come up with a scheme to maintain proper hygiene.
