Governor not bound by Ministers' advice for VC appointments under Kannur University Act: Supreme Court

The apex court stressed that as per the provisions of the Kannur University Act of 1996, the Governor who is the Chancellor is the sole judge in Vice-Chancellor appointments to the Kannur University.
