A sessions court in Halol, Gujarat on Monday acquitted 35 persons in the 2002 post-Godhra riots case, blaming the "pseudo-secular" media, politicians, as well as witnesses from the Muslim community, for the prolonged trial faced by "prominent Hindus" in the case [State of Gujarat vs Mahesh Dinubhai Valand].
