Celebrating the firm’s Family Day, Managing Partner Rajiv Luthra announced that four lawyers had been made Partners as part of the firm’s 2015 promotions..The chosen four include two Partner Designates, Abdullah Hussain and Ashish Prasad and two Managing Associates, Geeta Dhania and Vishal Yaduvanshi..Last year, Hussain and Prasad were two of the four who were given the newly created designation of “Partner Designate”, a position in between Managing Associate and Partner. In fact, Rajiv Luthra had described the new designation as a ‘Partner in Watch’. The other two Partner Designates were Koshy John and Vasudev Dibbur..Abdullah Hussain graduated from NALSAR, Hyderabad in 2003 and has been with the firm ever since. He is part of the litigation team headed by Bobby Chandhoke..Ashish Prasad, a graduate of Campus Law Centre, 2003 is also part the litigation team and works with Partner Vijay Sondhi..Geeta Dhania joined the firm after graduating from NLSIU, Bangalore and is part of the firm’s Capital Markets team. This is the same team that was earlier headed by Madhurima Mukherjee, before Mukherjee left to join AZB & Partners last year..Vishal, a graduate of National Law University, Jodhpur, joined the firm in 2007 prior to which he was working with Juris Corp. He is part of the firm’s corporate team..Senior Associate Sumit Mangal has been promoted to Managing Associate level while Associates Parag Mohanty and Aditi Goyal have been made Senior Associates.
