Former judge of the Kerala High Court, Justice MC Hari Rani, passed away on Wednesday. .Justice Rani spent nearly 2 decades in judicial service after she joined as a Munsiff in April 1982.Later, she served as an additional sub-judge in Palakkad and Thalassery and then as principle sub-judge, Thalassery.She also served at the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal and as the district judge in Alappuzha, Manjeri, Thrissur and Kalpetta.On May 2008, Justice Rani was elevated as a judge of the High Court. In April 2010, she was made a permanent judge and she retired from service in October 2011.
