Former District and Sessions Judge Abdul Rashid Malik has been appointed as Senior Additional Advocate General (AAG) to represent the Jammu & Kashmir government before the Srinagar wing of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh..A notification to this effect was issued by the Department of Law, Government of Jammu & Kashmir on Monday..As per the notification, Malik's appointment shall be for a period of one year, and can be extended subject to his satisfactory performance..Malik joined the judicial service in 1999 as a munsiff.
