[Exclusive]: Poovayya lit Partner Nalina Mayegowda resigns to join Khaitan; Manu Kulkarni rejoins Poovayya to head Lit Practice

Poovayya & Co Litigation Partner Nalina Mayegowda has resigned from the firm and will be joining the Bangalore office of Khaitan & Co as a Partner while Manu Kulkarni has rejoined Poovayya to head the firm’s litigation practice..Confirming Nalina’s joining, Khaitan’s Executive Director Amar Singhji commented,.“We are delighted to welcome Nalina to the firm. Her expertise extends beyond corporate litigation to real estate transactions as well. A graduate of NALSAR, Manu initially worked at Amarchand Mangaldas, Mumbai before joining Poovayya in 2010. In 2013, he left Poovayya to join Common Law Chambers..On Manu’s re-joining Poovayya said, “Manu was previously a part of the Poovayya team and has worked closely with me for many years, prior to my designation as Senior Advocate. He moved on to establish CLC and his return to Poovayya has added further enthusiasm to the Firm’s attorneys.
