Agram, based out of Mumbai, was set up last year by Ex- Khaitan & Co Partner Vaishali Sharma..With Routh’s joining, the one-year-old firm will convert from a sole proprietorship to an equity-sharing model..Speaking to Bar & Bench on his decision to move, Sudipta said, “I have worked in top tier firms, magic circle firms and in corporates as in-house counsel. The only thing that was left for me was to start my own work. So it’s a culmination of 19 years of very scenic route taken through all over the world.”.Sudipta was based out of the firm’s Mumbai office and had joined Luthra in 2010. The NLSIU graduate (Class of ’96) initially worked at ICI India (now part of AkzoNobel NV). In 2001, he joined Trilegal where he worked for almost five years before moving to London to pursue his Masters in Law from Queen Mary University, London..Talking about his five years at Luthra, he says, “It has been a very satisfying experience and place.
