[Exclusive]: Boutique lit firm Anandram and Prashanth merges with Poovayya & Co

Bangalore-based litigation firm, Anandram and Prashanth (A&P) has merged its litigation practice with Poovayya and Co. bolstering Poovayya’s existing litigation practice..The boutique firm, set up in 2010 by Anandram, Prashanth Kumar and Vikram Huilgol was later renamed Anandram & Prashanth (A&P), after co-founder Vikram Huilgol left for the US..This is the second incident of inorganic growth for Poovayya & Co. Earlier Poovayya had expanded its footprint in Mumbai with Alliance Legal co-founder Vishnu Jerome merging his practice with the firm..Anandram and Prashanth, will join Poovayya as Litigation Partners, increasing the Partner count at Poovayya to eleven across all offices..Sajan Poovayya, senior counsel and former Managing Partner of Poovayya & Co, said,.“I have personally known both Anandram and Prashanth for many years, who apart from being extraordinary lawyers, are superlative human beings.
