Economic Laws Practice (ELP) has retained the ELP Masters Cup for the second year in a row. As many as 16 law firms participated in the ninth edition of the tournament held from February 16-19 at the Police Gymkhana, Mumbai..ELP defeated Wadia Ghandy in the final to take home the Cup. Batting first, Wadia Ghandy had put up 77 runs on the board in six overs. ELP’s Vishal Kulkarni picked up two wickets. After a rocky start, Harsh Shah and Dinesh Pednekar steadied the ship and took ELP home with a four off the last ball..Shah was awarded Man of the Match, with Sahil Syed picking up the Best Batsman award. Vishal Kulkarni was adjudged Best Bowler of the Series, while Amit Manubarwala was Man of the Series..Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas and Trilegal were the other two teams in the semi-finals.
