Education could become a pre-condition for voting: AG Mukul Rohatgi to Supreme Court

Attorney General Mukul Rohatgi told the Supreme Court today that Haryana’s pre-condition of educational qualifications to contest Panchayat polls was to ensure that people recognised the importance of education, and would be able to fulfill their duties as elected representatives.
