Dhir & Dhir Associates Launches 2nd Edition of the 24-Hour Legal Research Lab

Last year, Dhir & Dhir Associates, a leading full service law firm, organized the First of its kind, “Virtual Legal Marathon on ESG – A 24 hour Live Research Lab” where more than 450 aspiring law students registered from around 94 law colleges & universities and generated insightful research papers. This initiative was also registered as a UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme) Event for World Environment Day Celebrations 2021.

The 2nd Edition of the Virtual Legal Marathon, is aimed to encourage progressive thoughts on upholding social and environmental responsibility for sustainable growth in the country. The initiative is registered as #OnlyOne Earth Action for 2022 for Celebrating 2022 World Environment Day, led by the UNEP, and held annually since 1974.

On the initiative by the firm, Alok Dhir, Founder & Managing Partner, Dhir & Dhir Associates said,

The 24 Hr Research Lab is a project to hone the young legal minds further to dwell into the space of ESG and the various legal nuances around it. Like the debut edition in 2021, this edition will also see a very detailed and meticulous virtual session with the shortlisted registrants for 24-hour research on a specified format and layout as would be provided by the ESG Advisory Desk at Dhir & Dhir Associates.

In addition, an expert-led jury shall judge the marathon activities to ensure fairness and transparency. Accordingly, the winners will be offered a range of acknowledgments for their hard work and refined research work. These include over 50 Internship Opportunities with the Firm, a Subscription to Lex Witness – India’s 1st Magazine on Legal & Corporate Affairs, and the opportunity to co-author a research paper of the winning participants.
