Heavy rains in the national capital over the last few days has resulted in seepage and leakage in some courtrooms in the Delhi High Court. .According to a communication issued by the Delhi High Court Bar Association (DHCBA) to its members, some Courts have been shifted to other courtrooms because of the leakage.Court no 2 (DB, Justices Sanjiv Sachdeva & Manoj Jain) shifted to Court no 3.Court no 4 (DB Justices VK Rao & AK Mendiratta) shifted to Court no 9.Court No 6 (Justices Vibhu Bhakru & Amit Mahajan) shifted to Court No 29 in Extension Block. .DHCBA has also informed its members that no adverse orders will be passed by the High Court in case lawyers are unable to present themselves before the court on Monday (July 10).A request to this effect was made by the DHCBA to Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma and the Chief Justice agreed, the lawyers' body has communicated. "Considering the torrential rains since 07.07.2023 and the Orange Alert issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) for 10.07.2023, the Chief Justice of Delhi High Court on request of DHCBA has agreed that no adverse orders shall be passed in case the lawyers are unable to present themselves before Courts on 10.07.2023," the DHCBA said.
