Ensure no trees felled in Central Ridge; garbage cleared immediately: Delhi High Court

The Court said that the Central Ridge forms the green heritage of Delhi and it was appalling to see it being used as a dumping ground for garbage.

The Delhi High Court recently ordered the Delhi Forest department to ensure that no felling of trees or removal of shrubs and other bushes take place in the Central Ridge of the national capital without the permission of the court [Anjali College of Pharmacy and Science through its founder-cum-chairman Devendra Gupta v Dr Montu M Patel President Pharmacy Council of India & Anr].
