Delhi High Court asks BCI to decide on monthly stipend to junior advocates

The High Court said that the issue cannot be kept pending for months and BCI must decide the issue.

The Delhi High Court on Thursday directed the Bar Council of India (BCI) to decide within six weeks a representation regarding the payment of a minimum stipend to all the junior lawyers employed by advocates and senior advocates [Simran Kumari v Bar Council of India & Anr].
