The Delhi Family Lawyers Association (DeFLA) is set to host a two-part webinar series in collaboration with the Commonwealth Lawyers Association (CLA) and the International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL).
The webinars will hold expert discussions on the international aspects involved in the Indian family law sphere and the current challenges faced by family law practitioners.
These sessions aim to provide possible solutions to both, lawyers practicing within the Indian jurisdiction and to thpse practicing outside who deal with any aspect of Indian family law.
The sessions will take place on July 10 and July 17 from 1 PM to 2:30 PM IST.
The July 10 session titled “Contemporary Family Law Issues in India”, will feature a panel of the following distinguished speakers.
Retd. Justice Mukta Gupta of the Delhi High Court, Prosenjeet Banerjee, Mrinalini Sen (Head of Senlex Chambers in Delhi), Suzanne Todd (Partner at Withers Worldwide and Secretary of the IAFL.)
The session will be moderated by Laurie Pawlitza from Canada, Vice President of the CLA and Family Law Committee Co-convenor, and Kai Yun Wong from Singapore, Partner at Chia Wong Chambers and President of the Asia Pacific Chapter of the IAFL.

The July 17 session titled “Inter Country Movement of Children from/to India” will begin with an introduction by Rachael Kelsey from Scotland, President of the IAFL and Partner at SKO Family Lawyers.
The panel will include Retd. Justice Vikramajit Sen of the Supreme Court of India, Malavika Rajkotia from Rajkotia Associates, Prabhjit Jauhar, Richard Min from the USA and Winnie Chow.
Moderation will be handled by Mark Woods from Australia, CLA Council member and Family Law Committee Co-convenor, and Inger Blackford from New Zealand, Barrister at Trinity Chambers and Vice President of the Asia Pacific Chapter of the IAFL.
