The Gujarat High Court has decided to hear cases through virtual mode from January 10, Monday in view of the rise in COVID cases. .The president of the Gujarat High Court Advocates Association Asim Pandya sent a communication in this regard to Bar members. For physical filing of cases, ten counters will be set up near the High Court gate and time slots will be provided for filing. The entire High Court will be sanitised in the next two days.The lawyers' chambers will also remain closed from Monday. All lawyers have been requested to take out their coats and gowns, briefs etc from all common areas like the bar room, ladies room, cupboards and even individual chamber..A detailed Standard Operating Procedure will be released by 2:30 pm today.
