COVID-19: Calcutta High Court switches to full virtual hearing

Physical presence of lawyers will be allowed only in bail cases where public prosecutors have to be present with case diary and in other matters where government and other advocates have to tender documents in court.

The Calcutta High Court will hear cases through virtual mode only from January 3, 2022 in view of the rising COVID cases and the looming threat of a third wave of the pandemic.
