Court cannot interfere with empanelment of lawyers by bank: Karnataka High Court

The Karnataka High Court recently observed that empanelment of an advocate by a bank is a matter of discretion of the bank and a writ court cannot ordinarily interfere and undertake a deeper examination of such matters [Thimmanna v. Union Bank of India].
